Material problems - to solve them we must consider them from the point of view of the spirit
As long as you are content to observe facts and phenomena on the physical plane, they will always appear to be scattered, dispersed and unrelated to one another. This is why it is impossible to resolve material problems if you remain on the level of the physical plane. Does this surprise you? Well, it should not: material problems are merely the concretization of feelings, desires and thoughts on the physical plane. A great many political and economic problems that we seek to solve by material means could be dealt with better and more quickly if solutions were sought by rising to the higher level of thoughts and feelings, or the even higher level of the soul and spirit. Yes, I repeat: problems will never be resolved if we try to deal with them on the level on which they arise, which is the level of multiplicity. To solve them, we must rise higher, continually higher, until we can look at them from the vantage point of unity, that is, from the point of view of the spirit. It is the One that brings order and direction to the many. It is by way of the One that we reach the heart of things and begin to understand how all the threads of life are woven together.
