Life on earth - it is but a long sleep animated by dreams
Never forget that life on earth is but a long sleep animated by dreams. You will awaken one day and say, ‘How stupid I was to believe that it was all real!.’ We come down to earth and undertake all sorts of activities that help us to get to know matter. And when we return to the other world years later, even though we have learned a great deal, we have to acknowledge that our life here was not reality. We are no more than a dream of the divine Being within us; we are asleep and we must wake up. But how? By thinking about our higher Self, by concentrating on it and identifying with it. Gradually, our ordinary awareness will begin to unite with the consciousness of our higher Self, our superconsciousness. It is this union that leads to true awakening.*
