When you receive the light of a spiritual teaching, you are given every means to correct your faults and weaknesses, so do not neglect them! If you had not been given this knowledge, you would be excused for continuing to commit errors. But you are not excused, for it has been your unimaginable privilege to receive the knowledge you need. Reflect on this, and try to understand how fortunate you are. God only knows in what conditions, inner misery, constraints and misfortune you would find yourself had you not known this teaching. Continue working to nourish and strengthen the good in yourself, and one day you will sense that, no matter what happens, you will never again stray from the right path.
