Every virtue has specific properties: love brings us warmth, wisdom brings us light, truth brings us freedom. Yes, because truth is linked to the will, to action, and our actions are correct and effective to the extent that we act in conformity with truth. Even if they appear to give good results at the time, all actions motivated by erroneous points of view eventually turn against their perpetrators, who become bound and shackled by them. Having made so many mistakes, they can no longer extricate themselves from the nets in which they have ensnared themselves. Only those who live in truth can call themselves free. But there are different degrees of truth, and our freedom depends on the degree of truth we have managed to attain.
