Some doctors are content simply to prescribe medicines. They attend to the sick in the same way a mechanic attends to broken-down cars, and their care undoubtedly has certain results. But there are other doctors who are truly motivated by the desire to soothe and comfort their patients. Emanations from their eyes, their voice and their handshake awaken forces in their patients which act imperceptibly on their body and restore certain energies beneficial to their organism. But this is just one example. Whether it be the clergy with the faithful, parents and educators with children, or employers with their employees, it is clear that in all walks of life what emanates from the deepest place in people influences the psychic matter and consequently the behaviour of those with whom they are in contact.
