If ancient religions and civilizations have not been able to withstand the ravages of time and have disappeared, it proves that their values were incapable of creating new life : their forms became crystallized and fossilized, and the spirit swept away their old, degenerating structures. Do not, therefore, linger amongst ruins. Do not look for rubble upon which to found your religion. Many spiritual people seek to return to ancient initiations. That is a mistake. You should not awaken the mysteries of the past because even from a spiritual point of view it is dangerous to try to reanimate what is already dead. Instead of dwelling on the past, reach out to the future, because what your future will be is, in fact, the present of the higher beings watching over you. And so, by receiving what these beings give you, you speed up your evolution.
