At any moment during the day you may be assailed by negative thoughts and feelings. Instead of enduring this passively, stop right away, concentrate for a moment, and try to establish peace and light in yourself. Even if you are in the street, you can stop in front of a store as if you were window shopping and do this exercise. Most people don’t know about these methods. They are sick to death of these states and yet allow them to drag on all day. They walk through a park but never try to change the course of their thoughts by contacting the trees, the flowers, the water… Instead, they go for a drink in a café or bar and watch the passers-by, and when they leave they take their troubles with them. And when they come home at night, they inflict their misery or ill-humour on their family… Isn’t it time that people stopped living so unconsciously and irresponsibly?
