Forms must change - only the principles are eternal

The principles that govern the universe are like the numbers from zero to nine, from which stem all numerical combinations. Principles,* like the first ten numbers, are immutable, but it is beyond us to predict the myriad combinations they can produce – these permutations are infinite. This is what we must learn: the new combinations and new forms engendered over the course of centuries by the principles, which themselves are eternal. Movement is the law of life that applies in every realm. This is why religions are making such a great mistake when they try and make forms last forever. Only principles are eternal; forms must change.
