Happiness - it depends on a proper understanding of things

Some people complain, ‘I wanted to get married, I longed to have children, to start a family... I tried everything but didn’t succeed!’ And, of course, they are unhappy, bitter and resentful about it. Well, if they asked themselves the reason for their failure, they would certainly get an answer, and instead of tormenting themselves and pestering others, they would realize that it is undoubtedly because they were not made for the life they yearned for. So, not only has Providence spared them many trials, but it has left them free for other, greater activities. The only acceptable attitude is to try to see the positive side of what Providence has allotted us. But human beings never question themselves. They cling to their opinions and remain convinced that things would have been better otherwise. Their stubbornness and blindness are what matter. This is why they are always unhappy, whether they are married and have children or not. Yes, happiness does not depend on any particular situation in life; it depends on a proper understanding of things. True happiness is not conditioned by circumstances.

“Through my teaching, I wish to give you essential notions about the human being: how he is built, his relationship with nature, the exchanges he must make with the universe, in order to drink from the sources of divine life. …ˮ
