Good and evil - the two grow together; it is up to humans not to sow evil

Suppose you have a field in which you sow good and bad seed at the same time: both will grow together, because the earth nurtures all seeds. You cannot tell the earth that it is stupid, that it should stifle the bad seeds and let only the good ones thrive. The earth will reply, ‘I don’t understand what you mean. I nurture and protect all seeds. To me, they are all good, even the bad ones are good.’ If you send out good thoughts, the harvest will be wonderful; but if you project negative thoughts, nature will nourish and fortify these too, because evil is also free to grow. Until when? Until the harvest. At that point, the owner of the field will give the order to burn the weeds and fill the barn with the good grain. This is exactly what Jesus taught in the parable of the wheat and tares. He knew that evil has as much right to grow as good, but it is up to humans not to sow evil.
