Universe - the intellect cannot grasp the entirety of its unity

We perceive the universe as a jumble of unrelated creatures, elements, objects and phenomena. In reality, there is an order to it all, there are connections, but our intellect is incapable of grasping them in their entirety. We can glimpse only limited parts at a time. Each of my talks is a piece of this vast structure. When, through your inner work, you succeed in putting all these pieces together, in a flash of illumination, you will come to grasp the unity of the world. I cannot explain it further. Besides, there are questions that Initiates prefer to set aside, for it is impossible to explain them by objective, intellectual arguments; try as they might, it is to no avail. The only effective method would be to take their disciples back to a primordial state of consciousness in which everything becomes clear without explanations. Otherwise, it is like trying to get a blind person to grasp the colours of a sunrise, or a deaf person a Mass by Mozart or Beethoven: no amount of explaining will suffice. But restore their sight or hearing and there will be no need to explain.

“Through my teaching, I wish to give you essential notions about the human being: how he is built, his relationship with nature, the exchanges he must make with the universe, in order to drink from the sources of divine life. …ˮ
