Giving and taking - to receive, we must give

Few human beings have developed the capacity to give. They do not know how to give, and when they do, it is often to get more in return. In fact, they will tell you that to possess you have to take. Well, this is not necessarily so. Initiates will tell you the opposite: that to possess you have to give. True, you cannot give unless you have something yourself, and you cannot possess something if you have never received anything. But the question is to know from where and from whom we receive. Instead of seeking what they need in the spiritual world, most human beings look for it in other people, gradually taking everything they have: not only their money and their belongings, but also their strength, their ideas and their feelings... It could even be said that the greatest thieves are lovers. And as all poetry, novels, plays and films are about love stories, they are all stories about thieves. Why yes, they are about those who succeed in stealing another person’s heart! Look around you, reflect, and you will see that, on the psychic plane as well as on the physical plane, there is nothing but theft.*

“Through my teaching, I wish to give you essential notions about the human being: how he is built, his relationship with nature, the exchanges he must make with the universe, in order to drink from the sources of divine life. …ˮ
