Tomorrow - do not worry about tomorrow, today’s trouble is enough for today

Every morning when you wake up, think that the coming day will be more important than all the rest of your life. Why? Because your entire existence depends on how you live this very day. Jesus, who knew this, said: ‘Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today.’ Yes, you needn’t think about tomorrow, provided that you think about today, and live this day well, otherwise you will spend each tomorrow repairing the consequences of the mistakes you made the day before. All those who have concerned themselves with the future without tending to the twenty-four hours at hand, have left areas of neglect everywhere in their lives. So they are back on earth once again to put things right, make amends and suffer. If you can manage to live just twenty-four hours well, you prepare the twenty-four hours to come. Then there is nothing to repair, and the program that lies ahead will be easy to carry out: the ground has been cleared, no obstacles lie in the way, and so life is made easier.
