Good and evil - only time can tell us if in reality something is good or bad
You make plans for a trip, a joint venture or a change of address. Even if you consider these plans to be favourable, in reality there is something that will always escape you: the long-term consequences of your undertaking. Or suppose you wish to hurt someone you consider a competitor, a rival or an opponent. You may succeed, but in fact you cannot know if you have caused any real harm. Despite having been the target of hurtful intentions, many have ended up, through a whole chain of circumstances, being successful and happy. Good and evil... we have to wait and see, because only time can tell what is good and what is bad. The only way we can understand this question is to examine the events of our own lives, and throughout the history of humanity.
