Reality - there is no point in hiding from it, be in the light
People may be well satisfied with themselves as long they as do not possess the light of Initiatic Science to show up the way they live. But the moment that light falls on their lives, they are appalled, because they are forced to recognize that they have wasted their time and energy on all kinds of useless or harmful activities, and then all they want is to shut their eyes or run away. Well, no, we must not do this, for light is still preferable. It is far better to face up to reality, because that is the only way to remedy things. ‘Yes, but we’re going to suffer!’ you will say. No matter. It is much better to be in the light and put up with a bit of suffering. There is no point in hiding from reality, because sooner or later we must face up to it, and the longer we delay, the more difficult it becomes.
