True hierarchy - serving heaven with humility
You need to develop an inner attitude of humility and respect in order to achieve spiritual results. Do not ask heavenly beings to come and satisfy all your desires, because if you do, you will cut yourself off from the current that ascends through the angelic hierarchies, linking you with God. It is you who must serve these superior beings—the Angels, Archangels, the Godhead—because that is the natural order of things. Wherever you look, there is a top and a bottom, a head and a tail; and the tail must always follow the head, not the other way around. You must ask heaven how you may be of service, not ask heaven to descend to serve you. You may say, ‘But the sun and stars send their light to us, and Angels, too, come down to visit us.’ Indeed, but only those who inwardly accept the existence of cosmic order benefit from these visits. Angels pass by everywhere, distributing their blessings, but only those who acknowledge the true hierarchy can receive those blessings.
