Chasteness - work on yourselves and do not be concerned with that of others
If you are able to remain chaste and pure, that is very good, but do not concern yourself with what other people do, leave them alone. It can even be dangerous to adopt a puritan attitude, for it shows that your ‘purity’ is nothing other than repression, and repression can lead you to become seriously unbalanced. History contains many such cases. If you are always occupied with other people’s shortcomings, it is quite simply because you are sick—psychically sick. So learn to be broad-minded: if the Lord says nothing, why should you interfere? The Lord is big-hearted and generous, so why are you so narrow-minded? You, too, must be tolerant and generous, and work on yourselves. There is nothing to stop you from becoming a model of purity and saintliness, but leave others be and do not meddle in their affairs. If they have anything to answer for, they will settle their account with heaven one day, not with you.
