Inner work - prepare the ground so that new life may flow within you
Do not imagine that simply by following a spiritual teaching, all your problems will be solved. Well, no! Far from it. In order to sort out our problems, we need to set ourselves specific inner tasks, a program to carry out. When you set yourself a task to complete, even if you do not entirely succeed, at least there is an imprint engraved somewhere within you, and your subconscious forces are then obliged to circulate through the channels you have carved out. If nothing is prepared beforehand, your whole life will pass by without any accomplishments whatsoever. When rain falls, the water runs exactly along the channels you have prepared. So you must prepare the ground, prepare the channels so that new life may flow within you.
