Mountains - moving those situated in the intellect, the heart, the will

The Gospels say, ‘For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move...’ This is symbolic of course. Jesus never thought that human beings would be able to move mountains from one place to another, because the mountains are fine just where they are. So, do not concern yourselves with moving mountains around, leave them in peace. Nature has placed them exactly where they need to be to transmit certain currents and radiations. The mountains Jesus refers to are situated elsewhere—in the intellect, the heart and the will. We neglect these mountains of darkness, selfishness and laziness and want to attack the beautiful, innocent mountains created by God! Did Jesus move mountains around? No, he didn’t bother himself with such things; instead, he shifted the mountains, kingdoms and whole continents that exist in the minds and hearts of human beings.
